Afterlife Theory Definitions

Critical Terms Used in the Theory of Afterlife

Definition 1. Point of Consciousness

That which has no dimension, yet is the origin of self-awareness. It is the indivisible, irreducible unit of subjective experience, and the foundation of all perception.

Definition 2. Dimensional Awareness

The extension of the point of consciousness into spatial or temporal perception. Dimensional awareness occurs when consciousness expands, occupying and perceiving a dimension beyond itself.

Definition 3. Birth

Birth is the creation of the 0D point of consciousness. It is marked as the moment at which the point of consciousness enters and begins to operate within three-dimensional space, bound to the biological vessel.

Definition 4. Death

The cessation of biological processes and detachment of the point of consciousness from the three-dimensional body. In Afterlife Theory, death initiates the shift from 0D point awareness to 4D spacetime awareness.

Definition 5. Out-of-Body Experience (OBE)

A temporary expansion of the point of consciousness beyond the body, resulting in perception of 3D space independent of physical form. It is a temporary expansion of the 0D point of consciousness beyond the body into 3D external space, while still tethered to life and time.

Definition 6. Near-Death Experience (NDE)

A state in which consciousness catches a partial glimpse of 4D awareness, often described as timelessness, life review, or merging with a greater whole, without permanent departure from the body.

Definition 7. 4D Consciousness

Consciousness extended through all of spacetime from the point of death. The point of consciousness, no longer restricted by linear time, experiences a totality of existence relative to itself. Though fully realized at death, partial glimpses of 4D consciousness may occur in NDEs.

Definition 8. Eternal Afterlife

The infinite duration perceived subjectively at the point of death. Although the moment of death is singular in the external world, to the point of consciousness it becomes an eternal experiential continuum of the entire memory realm.

Definition 9. Dimensional Change

The transformation of the point of consciousness from one dimensional framework to another - specifically from 0D to 3D during OBE, and from 0D to 4D at death. This is the fundamental mechanism of Afterlife Theory.

Definition 10. Hyperthymesia

The condition of total memory recall, used in Afterlife Theory as evidence of non-linear memory structures and support for the idea of 4D memory retaining all experience eternally.

Definition 11. Memory Field

The totality of conscious experience accessible to the point of consciousness, existing not as a sequence, but as a whole. In 4D, memory is simultaneous rather than chronological.

Definition 12. Conscious Universe

A postulated universe where consciousness is primary and matter, energy, space, and time emerge as dimensional expressions of it. In Afterlife Theory, the physical universe is interpreted as the projection of the memory field, fully revealed at death.
